Enago announces the official rebranding of RAxter.io to Enago Read. This transformation marks the culmination of a vision initiated in 2021 when Enago acquired the US-based organization, RAxter.io, with a mission to simplify the research process for scholars worldwide through Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Natural Language Processing (NLP).

Enago Read is an AI-powered reading assistant that enriches the research process by providing a smart space for researchers to brainstorm, create knowledge, and collaborate with others on their research. They can organize all their literature and reviews in one place, enabling them to highlight and take notes, as well as access references quickly and based on recommendations.

As part of this transition, RAxter users also gain access to Enago's comprehensive suite of writing tools which includes access to a vast database of research resources and offers an extensive array of services including plagiarism checks, proofreading, paraphrasing and more. Existing users retain full access to their reading materials and features they have come to rely on, ensuring they continue to enhance their research efficiency with greater ease.

Enago Read goes beyond helping individual researchers, offering features specifically designed to help improve the workflows of librarians, publishers and universities. These features include helping librarians increase the visibility of content, providing a Review Assistant to simplify the peer review process for publishers, and offering a collaboration feature for universities and organisations, enabling them to effortlessly share and collaborate on documents.
